The UGA PGY-1 Community Practice Residency at Village Drug Shop is currently on hiatus after 8 years.
The PGY-1 Community Residency at Village Drug Shop through the University of Georgia was an APhA/ASHP accredited program. Residents work with the site preceptor, Chris Thurmond PharmD and other Village staff to develop and enhance their clinical skills in community pharmacy practice.
As a trusted name in the Athens community for many years, Village provides unique opportunities to enhance patient care.
